HOME-I-CIDE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
Home-I-cide is a satirical corporate memphis motion graphics advert about a sinister cleaning company.
The intention was to make the adverts visuals and voice over as professional as possible while using puns, euphemisms and idioms to hint at something not so business friendly happening behind the scenes.
Originally the film was written in a way that gave as little away as possible but as the film developed and feedback was gathered changes were made to ensure it was clear enough.
The style of the film was created in small vignettes, each developed to indicate a setting or situation that matches a conventional cleaning scene but are in fact not conventional. Scenes such as commercial cleaning premises, aquarium maintenance and carpet cleaning services.
